All our coaches are National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) registered and NCCP Safe Sport training
Warriors Coaches attend all track meets and support Warriors athletes on and off the track
All coaches have completed criminal record checks (similar to minor sports in Calgary)

Unlike many other track clubs, the Warriors target a low athlete to 'certified coach' ratio of less than 15:1
The smaller group size ensures that athletes receive targeted feedback and training programs that suit their development path
The smaller group size also ensures that athletes are supported over time through the LTADP as they progress in their athletics journey

Warriors athletes consistently achieve high standards for athletic performance
In 2022, four Warriors athletes qualified for the U18 nationals as members of Team Alberta (Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships)
Numerous Warriors athletes have been awarded athletic scholarships at American (NCAA) and Canadian Universities (USports)

Due to the long standing history of the Club, the Warriors have access to premiere facilities and training times across the City of Calgary
During the indoor season, Warriors athletes train at MNP Community & Sport Centre (on the track and in the weight room for strength training)
During the outdoor season, due to the Club's long standing history, the Warriors have regularly scheduled access to the track facilities at Glenmore Athletic Park and Foothills Athletic Park

The Calgary Warriors Track Club's Board of Directors is focused on continuous improvement of the Club to create the ideal conditions for success for both athletes and coaches
